Lesson Planning

I have been busy lesson planning for future classes. I usually ponder on a theme it could be a muscle group, a system in the body, or a wonder of the natural world, perhaps something will come to me in passing or in conversation with my good friend (you know who you are), whilst we are walking around the river together.

I tend to jot my ideas down in my notebook (I’m old school and love a notebook) along with any poems or phrases I come across that resonate.  I enjoy this creative process firstly before the connection to the movement, breathwork and other practises, along with snippets of philosophy to weave into the session.

It usually starts with a bubble diagram and then my trusty stickmen as we were taught in Yoga Teacher Training, my drawing has much improved! But I do have a great book to aid with this.

“You can’t use up creativity.  The more you use, the more you have.”
